Examples of topics: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester comfort measure, prenatal fitness and nutrition resources, begin to develop your birth plan and preferences, discuss apprehensions, current struggles, and anxieties about continuing pregnancy
 
2.5 hours labor and birth discussion
In your home or virtual, scheduled on your time
Individual instruction for you and your partner
Personalized based on your goals of pregnancy/birth and your birth plan as discussed at your initial consultation
Examples of topics: comfort measures in early labor, how your partner can help support you through labor, positions for labor and birth, breathing techniques, discuss of the broad definition of normal labor
 
Two 30 minute check-in sessions
Virtual or via telephone
Scheduled on your time, when needs arise
Discuss change to birth plan as applicable or last minute preparation for birth
Examples: Low to high risk pregnancy, home or birth center birth transitioning to the hospital, support and help with adjustment to your birth plan, end of pregnancy emotional support as pregnancy nears, reminder and practice of labor and birth comfort measures previously discussed
 
Two 30 minute postpartum sessions
Spaced accordingly within the first 12 weeks postpartum
Time dedicated for you to share your birth story and debrief as needed
Postpartum resources given as needs are assessed: emotional support, lactation support, etc.
